Following a very encouraging level of response to invitations for expressions of interest, the ROC is pleased to confirm the information workshop for Perth, WA.
This workshop is part of the national 2018/19 ROC Education Strategy and follows the successful delivery of information sessions in Parramatta, Melbourne and Darwin. The Perth workshop will be modelled on these.
The workshop is being held for registered organisations as well as employer associations, industry groups, auditors and peak bodies and provides an opportunity for the participants to meet and engage with the Commissioner as well as members of the ROC education, compliance and finance teams.

The ROC’s half day information sessions are designed to provide education, assistance and guidance around a range of important issues for registered organisations and their members. It includes modules on financial reporting obligations, new officer induction, corrupting benefits and officer and related party disclosures and compliance more generally.
The ROC has received extensive positive feedback about the topics covered and the information delivered in previous information sessions, and strong indications of participants’ willingness to attend further information sessions conducted by the ROC.
