Next information session to be delivered in Brisbane

You may be aware that the ROC has now delivered four broad based information sessions to around 300 representatives from trade unions and employer organisations this year in Parramatta, Melbourne, Darwin and Perth. 

Most recently, the half day information session in Perth on 19 September was designed to provide education around a range of contemporary issues relevant to registered organisations and their members including financial reporting obligations and tips for increasing compliance, new officer induction, corrupting benefits and officer and related party disclosures, and general compliance.

We continue to receive positive feedback about the value of the information sessions from participants, particularly in response to our financial advisor's tips about increasing compliance, the ROC Flower pictograph (which is a terrific guide which hyperlinks to all our information and guidance tools) and our web-based compliance calculator on the ROC website.

In response to one session, 99% of responders agreed that it was informative or very informative and in response to another, 97% of responders agreed that they would attend another ROC information session.  

Based on the quantity and quality of feedback received, and the subsequent level of interest in providing another session, we are pleased to announce that our next information session for 2018 will be delivered in Brisbane on Tuesday 20 November.  

Interest in the session has been sought from registered organisations, employer associations, industrial groups, auditors and peak bodies.  

Based on a program broadly similar to that delivered in Perth, we have selected the following delivery time.
